1. Who this covers
Rumi is the Discord bot made and run by ENTRO.you ("we", "us"). It works in the ENTRO.you Discord server and with the ENTRO.you website. This policy explains what Rumi does with information when you use it in our server or link your Discord account to ENTRO.you.
Information handled by the ENTRO.you website itself (accounts, desktops, billing) is covered by our Privacy Policy. Using Rumi is also subject to the Rumi Terms of Service.
2. What Rumi handles
From Discord, about members of the ENTRO.you server:
- Your Discord user ID, username, display name, and links to your avatar and banner images.
- Your public profile badges (for example HypeSquad or Active Developer).
- Your presence, because Rumi uses Discord's Presence and Server Members permissions: whether you are online, idle, on do-not-disturb or offline, which kinds of device you are using (desktop, mobile, web), what you are doing (a game, a song, your custom status text), and when we last saw you online.
- The IDs of the server and channels where commands are used.
When you use a command (,profile, ,user, /profile, /user): the command, your user ID, the channel, and whatever you type as an option, such as a username to look up.
Message content. Rumi can read messages so it can notice the , prefix. It only acts on messages that start with the prefix. It does not store, log or analyse any other message.
If you link your Discord account (optional). You sign in with Discord and approve the identify permission. We receive your Discord ID, username, display name, avatar, banner, public badges and your Nitro type (Nitro, Nitro Classic, Nitro Basic, or none). We do not receive your email, your server list, your connected accounts, your messages or your password. Discord gives us a temporary permission to read that profile, which we use once and then discard. ENTRO.you also gives us an identifier for your ENTRO.you account so we can connect the two.
3. How we use it
- To run Rumi's commands and answer lookups.
- To show your Discord status, badges, profile picture and what you are playing or listening to (your Discord rich presence) on your ENTRO.you profile, only if you have linked your account and are a member of the ENTRO.you Discord server. Discord only tells Rumi about the presence of people who share a server with it.
- To keep Rumi secure and working: security, preventing abuse, debugging and tracking down errors.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising or profiling, or use it to train AI models.
4. Who can see it
Other members of the server. Anyone in the ENTRO.you server can ask Rumi about another member. The answer contains what Discord already shows members who share a server (status, activity, public badges). Your Nitro type is shown only if you linked your account.
ENTRO.you. Rumi shares the information above with the ENTRO.you website through an authenticated connection. ENTRO.you profiles show Discord information only for accounts that linked their Discord. We do not display Discord information about people who have not linked.
Service providers. Discord, which Rumi runs on, and the infrastructure providers we use to run Rumi and ENTRO.you. We do not share the information with anyone else, except if the law requires it.
5. Logs
Rumi keeps technical logs so we can run it and fix problems. A log entry can contain the time, the command used, your Discord ID, the server and channel IDs, the text you asked Rumi to look up, account-linking events, and errors. Logs never contain message content or passwords. They are kept in our systems and seen only by the people who run the service.
6. How long we keep it
- Presence, profile and badge information is held in memory only and is cleared whenever Rumi restarts. Rumi does not keep a permanent database of it.
- Logs are deleted after 30 days.
- An unfinished link attempt expires after 10 minutes.
7. Your choices and rights
- Unlink or delete. Email support@entro.you and we will remove what we hold about you, usually within 30 days.
- Access or correct. Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- Leave the server. Rumi only receives your presence while you are a member of the ENTRO.you Discord server. If you leave, it stops seeing it.
- You can also revoke Rumi's access to your Discord account at any time in Discord under Settings, Authorized Apps.
These choices are open to everyone, wherever you live.
8. Security
We restrict access to the information Rumi handles and protect the connections it uses. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
9. Children
Rumi is for people old enough to use Discord, which is 13 or the minimum age in your country, if higher. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We will update this page when Rumi changes, and change the date at the top. For significant changes we will say so in the ENTRO.you Discord server or on the website.
